About the Job
This position involves leading and coordinating SAP localization and deployment tasks throughout the life of a project. You will work with various stakeholders, including K-C leadership, project managers, functional leads, technical platform leads, SAP developers, and business stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
* Co-leading end-to-end SAP technical activities with K-C leadership and PMO to guide the project team's efforts to successfully go-live with localization and deployment of a previously built greenfield global template of SAP S/4HANA in the RISE private cloud in MS Azure to K-C business segments in Asia.
* Leading and coordinating technical SAP localization and deployment tasks throughout the life of the project, including technical landscape readiness, completion of remaining SAP build configuration and development activities, and completion of technical activities to localize SAP S/4HANA according to regional requirements in Asia.
* Collaborating with K-C leadership, project managers, functional leads, technical platform leads, SAP developers, and business stakeholders to complete all technical activities in a pre-planned and pre-defined sequence to ensure alignment with project goals, milestones, and specific deliverables.
* Managing and documenting traceability between technical requirements, business requirements, completion of deliverables that meet requirements, testing activities, and defect resolution through go-live and into hypercare.
* Providing leadership and mentorship to other cutover business and technical team members and adhering to SAP S/4HANA cutover best practices and standards.
You will track and report technical cutover preparation and progress, risks, actions, issues, and decisions to project leadership through the Microsoft Asure DevOps (ADO) project management tool, meetings, emails, and project documents.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* At least 5 years of experience in SAP technical cutover management, with a minimum of 5 years in a technical cutover or related technical leadership position.
* A strong understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, BW, and more) and their integration points.
* Prior hands-on experience with SAP configuration, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical defects is essential for this Technical Cutover Manager to manage all technical activities of other technical cutover resources.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Favorable Skills
Experience with prior projects with a successful cutover to go-live with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable. Familiarity with Agile and hybrid waterfall and Agile project methodologies is also advantageous.
