Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.
About The Role
* Possess a general understanding of the project scope and promote integration among disciplines by facilitating technical discussions between them.
* Participate in internal and external meetings with clients, suppliers, and engineering companies regarding scope interfaces.
* Provide support and generate meeting minutes during technical discussions and definitions.
* Verify all circulations of drawings/documents.
* Ensure coherence in multidisciplinary documents.
* Propose technical improvements and solutions.
* Manage and track interdisciplinary pending issues and approvals.
* Participate in and monitor activities related to SME verifications.
* Provide technical feedback on the 3D model.
* Prepare and present internal and external 3D design review reports.
* Support 3D project measurements.
About You
* 10 years of experience in a similar role.
* Preference for a degree in Mechanical Engineering, though other engineering disciplines are acceptable.
* Knowledge of processes applied to Gold, Copper, and Iron Ore projects.
* Experience in construction, assembly, and service contracting.
* Proactivity, ownership mindset, and clear and assertive communication.
* Advanced English (mandatory).
* Intermediate Spanish (desirable).
* Intermediate proficiency in MS Office.
* Intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD / Volo View.
