We are seeking a highly skilled developer to join our team of experts in building maintainable, scalable, and secure FinTech applications.
* Develop and Maintain Applications: Build, enhance, and maintain secure backend services using C#/.NET and integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime.
* Shape System Architecture: Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across our applications.
* Write Quality Code: Implement and test well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices.
* Support Production Systems: Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams, while mentoring junior developers.
* Focus on Security and Compliance: Embed security best practices and maintain compliance with FinTech regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
1. Strong Technical Expertise:
* Solid foundation in design patterns, software development best practices, and principles like SOLID and Clean Code.
* Proficiency in C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, and Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs).
* Strong understanding of MSSQL database design and optimization.
* Familiarity with asynchronous microservices architecture and distributed systems.
* Experience with modern front-end and server-side technologies such as Node.js and React.
2. Commitment to Software Quality:
* Hands-on experience with unit testing, mocking, integration testing, and ensuring code coverage.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly in Azure DevOps.
* Proficient in version control systems, especially Git.
3. Experience and Education:
* 6+ years of back-end software development experience.
