What you need to have
College degree in IT Engineering or a related field
+5 years of relevant professional experience in backend development
Strong experience with C# and .NET Core
Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and development
Experience with SQL Server and relational data modeling
Experience with Azure services (Functions, App Services, API Management, Service Bus)
Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Nice to have
Experience integrating with Microsoft Dynamics CE / Dataverse or Workday
Familiarity with GraphQL, Node.js, or Python
Knowledge of React Native backend patterns
Experience in healthcare, staffing, or HRIS/ATS environments
Familiarity with SOC2 or HIPAA compliance standards

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET/C# on Azure Web Apps
Model and manage SQL data structures (Azure SQL) to support complex engineering workflows
Write and maintain test automation to ensure code quality and reduce regression risk
Participate in DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline maintenance, infrastructure-as-code (YAML), and application monitoring with Application Insights and Kusto language
Leverage AI-powered assistants and developer tools to reduce repetitive work and accelerate delivery
Collaborate cross-functionally with international teams (Product Managers, UX designers, test engineers, DevOps)
Mentor team members on best practices in software architecture, design patterns, and coding standards
Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to established guidelines
Mandatory Skills Description

Design patterns, SOLID principles, and object-oriented programming
Building and optimizing high-load, high-performance, data-driven backend systems
Designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP-based web services

Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of professional experience developing SaaS applications
2+ years of experience with .NET/C# for developing RESTful APIs
Proficiency in version control tools (e.g., Git) and Agile development practices
Experience with SQL databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns
Ability to work independently in short delivery cycles with minimal rework
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Webix UI platform
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure; certifications beneficial (AZ-204, AZ-900)
Experience with DevOps Pipelines, YAML
Experience using OpenAI or other AI API platforms
Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor)

Second Role – Senior Software Engineer – Avenue Code
About the opportunity: As a Senior Software Engineer at Avenue Code, you will be an active hands‑on contributor and a strong influencer for our technical direction. You will lead and contribute to significant initiatives, provide mentorship through code reviews and pairing, and help us build full‑stack solutions that power marketing and personalization initiatives.
What You Bring To The Role
5+ years of professional software development experience
Fluency with either Elixir or Ruby
Experience with React and common tools in the React ecosystem (Node.js, npm)
Familiarity with common programming tools: IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, remote deployment tools
Familiarity with event‑based architectures, database fundamentals, and GraphQL
Enthusiasm for solving problems for users with technology
Curiosity about retail/e‑commerce, high‑end consignment market, and sustainable circular economy for luxury goods
Responsibilities
Build and maintain customer‑facing features using React, Next.js, and Java/Spring Boot
Support integration of Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and other marketing technologies
Work with event‑driven architectures (message publishing, data pipelines, event consumption)
Contribute to solutions enabling targeting and personalized customer experiences
Translate business requirements into technical solutions, working closely with product and engineering teams
