About the role
Sweden needs skilled engineers. About 30 000 by 2030, according to the Swedish Statistical Central Bureau. Right now we have ~200 open positions for Software Engineers with our clients in Sweden. As a senior headhunter you will help us find engineers who are ready to embark on an adventure to Sweden. Living standards in Sweden are high by international comparisons, and we need many engineers. Your job will be to find them and inform them about all the benefits of living and working in Sweden. To move to another country is often one of the biggest leaps in life, so a lot of your job will be to build trust with suitable candidates. You will be supported by a competent global team of recruiters, an executive management team in Sweden, and our Swedish delivery management team that handles relocation logistics for our consultants. In short we fix everything for our employees – visa, work permits, tickets, housing arrangements, you name it. Our clients are primarily in software development, R&D, cyber security, automotive, embedded systems, telecommunications, online solutions and application development. Your work will be planned and executed with colleagues in Albania, Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Colombia, Hungary, Kenya, North Macedonia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela and Vietnam. You will be part of a team with a focus on helping engineers and their families build a new career and life in Sweden. Telescope's core values are joy, trust, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
* Help identify and attract engineers for relocation to Sweden.
* Build trust with candidates and explain benefits of living and working in Sweden.
* Collaborate with global recruiters, Swedish management, and relocation teams to support candidates.
* Coordinate with colleagues across multiple international locations to plan and execute recruitment efforts.
* Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and ensure a smooth relocation process for consultants.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of professional experience from recruitment in the IT sector, or similar technical experience.
* A solid and well‑proven network of local engineering talent within IT.
* Extremely service oriented, with a flexible mindset toward finding the best solution.
* High quality and brand awareness.
* Understanding or interest in headhunting and IT outstaffing/outsourcing concepts.
* Upper intermediate English.
* Knowledge of contemporary IT technologies and the ability to learn new technologies.
* Analytical, well organized with attention to detail, and able to identify and close a recruitment request.
* Self-confident, sociable, outgoing with high self‑motivation.
* Resilient and able to handle rejection, with a proactive attitude to improve results.
* Passionate about success with an executive yet relaxed attitude toward work, colleagues and customers.
* Responsive and responsible with a professional appearance.
Offer details
* Location: Work from home or a co‑location center of your choice.
* Employment type: Full‑time, long‑term contract as a Private Entrepreneur (minimum 12 months).
* Hours: Eight hours per day, Monday to Friday.
* Remuneration: Starting at 1200 USD, plus remittance fees and taxes.
* Benefits: Free national holidays with maintained payment; 20 paid vacation days; paid travels, housing, and per diem.
