We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our innovative and fast-paced team.
Role Overview
This role offers the opportunity to design, deploy, and manage scalable, cloud-native infrastructure supporting modern applications. You will work with cutting-edge tools and technologies, ensuring seamless integration and deployment for our microservices architecture. Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Automation: Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt. Automate provisioning and deployment of AWS resources for high availability and scalability.
2. Microservices Deployment: Build and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes with Helm. Support and enhance microservices developed in Go (Golang).
3. CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain pipelines in GitLab CI/CD to enable seamless build, test, and deployment workflows. Optimize pipelines for performance, reliability, and security.
4. Monitoring and Observability: Set up and maintain observability stacks using Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog. Monitor system health and performance, proactively resolving bottlenecks.
5. Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with development and QA teams. Document processes, workflows, and playbooks for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Experience
1. Proven experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
2. Strong expertise in Terraform and Terragrunt.
3. Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
4. Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
5. Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog.
6. Familiarity with Helm and secure deployment practices.
7. Public Cloud provider certifications in AWS and/or Kubernetes.
Nice-to-Have Skills
1. Experience with SRE practices and incident management.
2. Proficiency in Go (Golang) microservices.
3. Knowledge of multi-environment infrastructure setups.
4. Familiarity with PostgreSQL, load balancing, and auto-scaling.
