* The platform applies the best expertise in research, data science, and technology to modernize the analytics experience for institutional investors, enabling them to adopt a quantitative approach to multi-asset portfolio risk and investment decision making.
* The available tools facilitate investors' factor-based risk analysis to inform manager due diligence, investment evaluation, and portfolio construction.
The client's headquarters are located in the USA.
We seek an experienced full-stack software engineer to own innovation, technical design, and development of the platform.
Technical Requirements
* A cloud-based, modern web application stack using Java, Typescript, React.js
* Apollo GraphQL as a popular open-source ecosystem for building and managing GraphQL APIs
* Service-oriented architecture, infrastructure-as-code
* Continuous development and deployment
* Auto-scaling and robust search (Postgres, OpenSearch)
* Cloud technologies (AWS)
* Cloud monitoring (Datadog)
* Test automation (Cypress)
Requirements:
* 7+ years of experience preferred in building and delivering customer-facing products
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
* 7+ years of experience in Java development
* 3+ years of experience in modern front-end technologies: React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript
* Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, test automation, DevOps, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
* Prior experience with systems design, building enterprise SaaS solutions, experience with user research, and product analytics are highly beneficial
Responsibilities:
* Create, design, build, and deploy SaaS product end-to-end with an agile approach, from conceptualization to rigorous testing, and partnering with client teams to ensure outstanding UX
* Conduct front-end web development using React, TypeScript, CSS, and other technologies
* Perform API design and development in Java, using cloud, microservices, and caching
* Develop into a domain expert and trusted advisor in full-stack software engineering
* Contribute to continuous learning within the team by bringing in new insights, welcoming those from others, and generating stronger outcomes
* Provide hands-on coding support and perform code reviews to ensure quality standards
* Communicate clearly about progress, challenges, and technical decisions
