Job Overview
Plan A Technologies is looking for a skilled Ardoq Specialist to spearhead the digital landscape transformation using Ardoq. You will be responsible for maturing the Ardoq environment, automating data ingestion, and delivering real-time insights to executive leadership to drive cost optimization and strategic change. Please note: you must have at least 2+ years of hands‑on experience specifically in Ardoq to be considered for this role.
Job Responsibility
Lead the configuration, metamodel design, and administration of the Ardoq platform.
Architect and maintain integrations between Ardoq and external data sources (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Azure AD, Collibra) via APIs or Ardoq’s native connectors.
Use Scenario Modeling to create "What-If" future‑state architectures, helping the business visualize the impact of cloud migrations or application decommissioning.
Design custom Dashboards, Heatmaps, and Discover Views tailored for different audiences (from DevOps teams to the CFO).
Manage and automate Surveys and Broadcasts to ensure the architectural data remains accurate without manual intervention.
Define and enforce EA standards (TOGAF/ArchiMate) within the Ardoq tool to ensure consistency across all workspaces.
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2+ years of hands‑on experience specifically in Ardoq. (Certification as an Ardoq Practitioner or Professional is a major plus).
Strong understanding of graph‑based data structures and how to build flexible, scalable metamodels.
Deep knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate, or Capability-Based Planning.
Proficiency in JSON and working with REST APIs.
Experience with Gremlin or similar graph query languages (preferred).
Familiarity with Excel/CSV bulk data transformation and import logic.
Ability to write complex "Calculated Fields" in Ardoq to derive insights (e.g., calculating Total Cost of Ownership or Technical Debt scores).
Experience with Ardoq AI Labs features for automated documentation and insights.
Background in Application Portfolio Management (APM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM).
Have solid written and verbal English skills.
Ability to maintain a positive work attitude.
Initiative and drive to do great things.
