Strategic Technology Leader
As a visionary and servant leader, you will inspire teams and drive strategy. You will guide our tech and product strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of growth and servant leadership. This is a hybrid role combining strategic leadership with hands-on involvement.
We are transitioning from in-house backend development to a third-party tech provider to enhance scalability, security, and performance while reducing bugs and maintenance overhead. We need a leader excited about this transformation - someone who can refine product strategy, guide teams, and drive innovation rather than push for in-house backend development.
* Technology & Product Strategy – Define and execute a long-term technology roadmap aligned with business goals and innovation.
* Leadership & Growth – Inspire, mentor, and empower teams to drive effective execution.
* Product Ownership & Execution – Oversee product evolution, ensuring front-end and API development supports user experience, marketing agility, and growth initiatives.
* Security & Scalability – Ensure site security, performance, and scalability by working with our third-party technology partner while keeping internal processes efficient.
* Technical Escalation & Support – Provide backup for critical issues and guide troubleshooting, ensuring smooth collaboration with third-party providers.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration – Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to leverage technology for business impact.
* Vendor & Partner Management – Manage relationships with external tech providers to maximize efficiency, reliability, and innovation.
This role is not for hands-on backend developers or those looking to rebuild everything in-house. It requires adaptability, collaboration, and strategic thinking.
Key qualifications include leadership experience in a technology or product-focused executive role, experience with client-side web development, deep understanding of front-end and API-driven development, and security and scalability expertise in a digital product environment.
