GCP Data Engineer Position
We are seeking an experienced data professional to fill the role of GCP Data Engineer.
* Proficiency in designing and implementing data architectures on Google Cloud Platform using BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer, and other related services.
* Experience with SQL, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, and proficiency in orchestration using Cloud Composer (Airflow).
* Knowledge of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support advanced analytics and machine learning use cases.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating ingestion, transformation, and data delivery processes, monitoring and optimizing cost and performance of GCP resources, and implementing best practices for data operations and governance.
This position requires a strong understanding of data engineering principles and the ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills.
Beyond technical expertise, this role demands a high level of collaboration and teamwork. The GCP Data Engineer will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to support business objectives and drive innovation through data-driven insights.
