We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Java and SAP Commerce Cloud experience to join an international e-commerce project within the beauty and professional haircare industry. This is a short-term engagement with high impact, working on a modern digital commerce ecosystem supporting a globally recognized premium brand.
You will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing and optimizing backend services that power large-scale e-commerce platforms. The project focuses on scalability, performance, and integration within a microservices-based architecture.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop backend services within SAP Commerce Cloud environments
• Build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Contribute to architecture decisions and propose optimal technical solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams following Agile methodologies
• Ensure high-quality code through testing, CI/CD pipelines and best development practices
• Support integration across the e-commerce ecosystem and backend platforms

Requirements
• Strong backend development experience with Java

• Experience with containerization technologies
• Familiarity with Agile development and SDLC practices
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
