The Role
We are looking for a Financial Modelling Analyst to join our consulting team and support investment analysis and financial modelling for energy transition projects and companies.
This role offers:
Exposure to real investment decisions in renewable energy
Direct interaction with clients, investors, and senior consultants
A fast-paced, analytical, and impact-driven environment
Key Responsibilities
Build and review financial models for: Company and project valuation, Financial due diligence, Feasibility studies and Equity and debt fundraising
Analyze operational metrics of energy projects (tariffs, capacity, generation, performance)
Evaluate financial indicators, including: Enterprise Value (EV), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and others
Support CELA's consulting team with financial analysis and modelling tools
Contribute to high-quality client deliverables and internal decision-making
Profile
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex financial analyses into actionable insights for clients and internal teams
Proactive and comfortable working independently
Curious and motivated to develop across energy transition topics
Aligned with CELA's mission to accelerate the energy transition in Latin America
Requirements
Previous experience in: Financial modelling, Investment analysis, Corporate finance or valuation
Bachelor's degree in: Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Accounting or related fields
Advanced Excel skills (mandatory)
Fluent English (written and spoken, mandatory)
Full-time availability with exclusivity
Availability to work primarily remote (home office)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in renewable energy, energy transition, or power sector
Knowledge of Power BI or data visualization tools
Background in: Consulting, Investment banking, Project finance, Infrastructure or energy funds
