As a professional in the field of interpretation, you will play a key role in facilitating effective communication between clients and linguists. Your primary responsibilities will include scoping, matchmaking, and executing interpretation projects.
Scoping: Identify client expectations for quality, speed, and cost; work with colleagues to meet these expectations; and identify colleagues to assist based on relevant time zones or regions for the project.
Matchmaking: Identify the best linguist in our community for the client's objective, present that linguist's experience in a relevant way for the project, recruit a new one if there isn't an ideal match, and evaluate profitability and client satisfaction.
Executing: Sync up expectations between client(s) and linguist(s), chaperone calls to ensure they begin successfully, and speak with clients after projects to make sure they are satisfied.
The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional experience in customer service and/or language support is highly valued
* Familiarity with remote project management and team collaboration tools is essential
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as languages, communications, or business administration
