Growth Marketer in Global Running Company – Part-Time With Room To Grow Into Head Of Marketing
Hi, I'm Lena, the founder of Go! Running Tours. I’m looking for a Growth Marketer to own all marketing activities for our B2C and B2B clients as we expand globally.
Our current markets are growing fast (often >100%) and we are constantly looking for new channels and markets to sell our services. The right person will combine analytical rigor with creative copy, attention to detail, and a passion for turning new opportunities into business growth.
We’re looking for someone who works systematically, thrives on testing and scaling, learns new technologies, and feels excited by building data‑driven marketing flows.
Responsibilities
Plan and run digital advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, and emerging platforms; monitor results and scale what works.
Manage and optimize email marketing, including newsletter flows, automation, and data‑driven content strategy.
Create case studies, explore sponsorship opportunities, and pitch bold ideas that reach new runners, companies, and destinations.
Own market research, trend scouting, and partner outreach to identify growth opportunities.
Work directly with me and collaborate with remote team members; keep internal meetings to 2–3 hours per week.
Qualifications
Analytical, structured mindset with the creativity to craft compelling copy.
Experience with data‑driven marketing, funnel automation, and email flow optimization.
Strong execution skills: deliver on goals, manage timelines, and scale campaigns.
Growth‑oriented: always looking for new ideas, testing in one city and scaling, researching new tech and trends.
Excellent attention to detail, collaborator, and high‑energy self‑starter.
Contract Details
Salary: USD 1,400 per month
Hours: 25 hours per week
Employment type: Part‑time (remote) via Upwork
Location: Remote; minimal internal meetings; Slack for communication.
We don’t want a Ferrari or a holiday to Mauritius – this role is about the love of running, bridging cultures, and building an exciting company together. The pay is comfortable for a part‑time role and should allow a fulfilling life outside work.
