About the Role
The JD Edwards Enterprise One Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enhancements, reports, and interfaces programs utilizing the JDE developer toolkit.
This position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) resource for JDE, supporting processes, and implementing improvements. You will ensure appropriate controls are in place and integrate data for decision makers and business owners to support IT, Compliance, project, and vendor management activities.
You will focus on the Global Systems Implementation, initially on the LatAm and UK/EMEA regions. Responsibilities include:
* Serving as a subject matter expert developer for JD Edwards Enterprise One (JDE) associated with functionality, content, processes, and procedures.
* Gathering business requirements and implementing a global standard design for the Global Systems Implementation of JDE enhancements, reports, and interfaces with other client applications.
* Assisting with the design and implementation of operational and system enhancements to ensure production capabilities are both effective and efficient.
* Ensuring JDE development deliverables are completed on time and bug free.
* Based on detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, creating appropriate functional and technical designs, developing the programs, and performing testing to ensure quality of the deliverables.
* Ensuring JDE programs are compliant with IT Policy. Building plans to enforce compliance with IT policy and standard user management processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong financial applications, analysis, and issue resolution skills. Experience working with fellow team members and third-party vendors to integrate with SaaS solutions is also required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.1 or higher, including application configuration and development.
* Experience with JDE Localization implementations, preferably for LatAm countries.
* Strong financial applications, analysis, and issue resolution skills.
* Experience working with fellow team members and third-party vendors to integrate with SaaS solutions.
* Working 'hands-on' knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and project management methodologies.
* Financial & Business acumen, awareness of management, and analysis processes.
* Strong PC skills, including experience using MS Office Products, especially Excel.
* Excellent organization skills, and verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations.
* Experience working with off-shore or remote development/support teams.
* Fluent in Spanish and English.
* Availability to work CST timezone.
