Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Principal Software Engineer: Jasper R&D to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Job Description
* Work daily with software architecture, C++ development and a few scripting languages on the Jasper R&D team, solving real-world programming problems in an innovative, supportive, and collaborative environment.
* Provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers, helping the manager to distribute and control the technical tasks, and doing architecture and code reviews
Requirements
* Complete Bachelors degree in computer science, computer Engineering or related Engineering, Math and Statistic courses; with 4 or more years of experience working in the software industry
* Solid knowledge in software architecture, data structures and algorithms.
* Knowledge of C++ programming language
* Good written and spoken English with strong communication skill
Nice To Have
* Experience with scripting languages – Python, tcl - and unix environment.
* Knowledge of Verilog and VHDL languages.
* Knowledge of hardware verification: simulation and formal verification
