Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor Legislative Developments: Analyze regional legislative and policy developments, identifying potential impacts on operations and providing strategic recommendations.
* Serve as Primary Point of Contact: Foster collaborative partnerships with key industry associations, advocating for shared interests and promoting mutual benefits.
* Collaborate with Internal Teams: Align government relations strategies with business objectives, ensuring cohesive integration and compliance.
* Represent the Organization: Advocate for organizational positions at governmental meetings, public hearings, and industry association events, strengthening partnerships and driving growth.
* Prepare Briefings and Reports: Provide senior management with insightful briefings, reports, and presentations highlighting opportunities and challenges in state and municipal affairs.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential government-related risks, developing proactive strategies to address them effectively.
Requirements
* Relevant Experience: Proven track record in government relations or a related field, with a focus on state and municipal affairs and association engagement.
* Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of articulating organizational positions clearly and persuasively.
* Business Acumen: Strong understanding of regional political landscapes and public policy processes.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
