Job Purpose and Impact
The Strategy and Business Development Manager/Advisor will identify, evaluate, and negotiate plantation and farming projects interacting with multiple areas. In this role, you will perform significant analysis to identify and develop with the contribution of related areas an optimal return models including traceability and sustainability programs, GHG impacts and other opportunities. In addition, you will monitor and catalog a Cargill Cocoa Farming Book all the technology development of the products. As additional business impact, this position will develop the strategy to allow Cargill by 2030 to source 10% of the cocoa bean program through farming and plantation model.
Key Accountabilities
projects. Plan and coordinate business reviews, resource allocations, organization structures and financial analysis. Using significant analysis, identify and negotiate strategic partnerships such as financial arrangements, customer sharing and intellectual property rights. Prioritize and track investments across new sourcing development initiatives. Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Catalog and publish the technology investigation across all the projects. Engage other corporative and business departments to contribute to an optimum business design. Investigate and stimulate new technologies to be applied in cocoa farming. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related area Solid experience in business development and field work Proving experience working with agriculture segment Languages: Fluent Portuguese and English and intermediate Spanish Availability to travel (up to 50%)
