Sales Engineer Position
Are you a technical sales professional looking for a challenging role that requires a strong understanding of our software platform and its applications?
This highly technical sales position involves working closely with customers to understand their current state, negative consequences, as well as their desired future state and positive business outcomes.
* You will be responsible for establishing and executing sales strategies in partnership with account executives and channel account managers to drive revenue growth in the region.
* Your key responsibilities will include delivering tailored technical sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers and partners.
* You will also be expected to plan and execute proof of value activities, including scoping, designing, and executing evaluations.
* An additional responsibility is to communicate feature requests and product ideas into product management.
* You will document ongoing sales cycles and PoVs in Salesforce.com.
* Furthermore, you will collaborate with technical peers within channel partners to uncover new sales opportunities.
* Lastly, you will protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience with complex technical sales cycles, including deep discovery and execution.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to all levels of people.
* Understanding of data-in-transit security, network services, and systems.
* Familiarity with popular firewall vendors and basic rule design.
* Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
* Fluent verbal and written communication in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Nice to Have:
* Experience with selling methodologies such as Command of the Message and MEDDPICC.
* Experience selling SASE, SSE, VPN, EDR, Incident Response or other endpoint or network security tools.
* Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
* Security or networking certifications.
* Experience in IT or Security operations.
