Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in Public Sector-related Telemarketing or Sales, e. g. in areas such as Education, Government and/ or Non-Profit Organizations
- 3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization - preferably tech-related
- 1+ years of experience using a CRM/Customer Relationship Management tool
- Understanding of customer use cases, target audience/ buying group, decision-making processes and engagement strategies of Public Sector customers in different stages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish

We are looking for a result-oriented, customer-focused and creative individual with highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills to join the Global MRC team based in Sao Paulo, BR, to engage with new and prospective AWS Public Sector customers in BR/LATAM.
MRC is an important customer engagement arm in the Marketing organization. Our mission is to learn from customers, understand their needs, and educate them about the benefits of AWS and all the services we offer, in order to help them embark on their cloud journey quickly and easily. It is a critical function within the lead and demand generation process, with the objective to profile, nurture, and qualify marketing leads generated from various marketing events, campaigns, and activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the global MRC team to:
- Help customers and prospects increase their understanding of the AWS cloud and its portfolio so they can get started, advance or continue their cloud journey
- Build a stronger AWS leads database by researching, updating and maintaining customer information within Salesforce
- Help drive operational excellence and optimize customer experiences - Manage incoming leads in a timely manner
- Drive lead:opportunity conversion rates through profiling and nurture efforts
- Lead industry-specific conversations over the phone to qualify and identify business opportunities
- Identify customers´ pain points, capture their need for cloud technology
- Offer adequate solutions, including introduction of AWS colleagues and partners, or content, including specific use cases, customer references, event recommendations etc.
- Provide Demand Generation/ Account Management team with detailed call notes to ensure a business opportunity is understood and next steps are clearly defined
- Lead the industry/segment-specific programs and stakeholder conversations to share customer feedback and improve campaign efficiency
- Identify existing knowledge gaps of Public Sector customers and recommend next steps to improve the customer experience to the MRC team and other relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with Demand Generation, Sales and Marketing to achieve campaign goals
- Work closely with our partner community to nurture jointly captured leads and perform occasional call blitzes to identify new business opportunities
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification/AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
- A technical background in engineering, computer science or MIS.
- Success record in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably tech-related
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing: understand and identify opportunities for customers
- Clear, concise, and confident communicator in-person and via phone
- Ability to listen to customers, understand needs, and ask clarifying/probing questions.
- Ability to think and structure answers logically
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Additional language skills
- Ability to travel abroad as needed
