As part of that commitment, we are investing in growing our team to drive our next wave of market expansion, innovation, and growth.The Account Executive will develop key sales growth strategies, tactics, and action plans. Effective execution of these strategies is required to be successful with our quarterly and annual financial targets. The position will work remotely with travel to client locations and team meetings.Responsibilities and ExpectationsBe an expert listener. Being able to respond with solutions to a problem will be paramount to your success at Five Star Technology SolutionsCreate, deploy, and analyze prospecting cadences, including cold calls, social media, and personalized emails, to connect to the right persons at target school districtsMeet or exceed growth objectives through prospecting, lead response, and relationship building with public schoolsPresenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective clientsBuild long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to ensure an industry-leading customer experienceHelping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiationsPresent applicable competitive information to Sales ManagementCollaborate with Sales Management regularly and consistentlyProvide accurate forecasts by leveraging the company CRM system to document activities and essential information as deals progress in the pipelineVisiting/meeting virtually with clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and servicesOther duties as assigned by Sales ManagementRequirementsMinimum of five (5) years experience in a role as Technology Director within a school system, or in a sales role focused on IT Services and Procurement for the K-12 Education Market.Bachelor’s or Associate degree in computer science, business, or a related field is preferred but not requiredAbility to work remotely with reliable high-speed internet access at home or residenceProven ability to solve problems creativelyMust have strong organization and detail-oriented skillsWork both effectively with others in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision and guidanceDemonstrated ability to achieve excellent resultsA moderate level of travel will be requiredExperience with Hubspot Sales is preferredExperience with ConnectWise PSA (Manage) is preferredExperience with Google Workspace is preferredProvide a minimum of two (2) professional referencesCompensationWe offer a starting base salary in the range of $65,000-$75,000 that can be flexible depending on the candidate's skills and professional background. This role also includes a performance-based commission.
