Senior Product Designer
About the Role
* You will lead the design of user experiences across three core products, encompassing web and mobile platforms.
* Key responsibilities include defining design concepts from inception to completion, conducting thorough research processes, and leading usability testing sessions to refine designs.
* Strong collaboration skills are essential for working closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and align with product scope.
* The role demands a strong bias for action, flexibility, and a willingness to pivot in a fast-paced environment.
* Establishing and maintaining a consistent design language and component library is also crucial.
Requirements
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design.
* Fluency in English.
* Strong problem-solving skills, good taste in visual design, and a strong portfolio showcasing complex web or mobile interface designs.
* Proficiency in Figma, with the ability to translate requirements into simple design solutions.
* Experience designing for similar users (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals) is preferred.
Work Expectations
The team operates primarily through remote work arrangements, with regular meetings and flexible hours. Collaboration tools like Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion facilitate communication and project management.
This full-time position comes with contractor compensation terms, which require individuals to have their own company set up in Brazil or be willing to establish one.
Interview Process

* An asynchronous portfolio review involves creating a 15-minute video walking through a relevant project that demonstrates skills and experience.
* A small project (2 hours) will be assigned, where you'll develop low-fidelity designs for a user experience addressing a specific problem; a 1-hour interview with leadership will follow.
* Follow-up 1:1s with the founder and/or Head of Engineering may be requested to address any unresolved questions.
