About the Role
The Supply Chain Demand & Planning Manager owns end-to-end demand planning and supply execution, ensuring accurate forecasting, timely purchase order creation, factory order placement, and production tracking to support DTC demand. This role balances inventory availability, cash flow, lead times, and service levels to maintain optimal stock readiness. Upon production completion and shipment readiness, the Manager ensures a structured handoff to Logistics for container booking and transportation, maintaining seamless supply chain continuity and on-time delivery performance.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain accurate SKU-level demand forecasts, incorporating sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and product launches through a structured planning cadence.
Translate demand plans into executable supply strategies, including reorder points, safety stock, and lead time assumptions to meet in-stock and service level targets.
Own purchase order creation and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment on quantities, pricing, incoterms, and delivery windows.
Partner with Finance to balance inventory investment, cash flow, open-to-buy targets, and inventory turn objectives.
Oversee factory execution from PO placement through production tracking, proactively mitigating risks to timelines, quality, and compliance.
Ensure shipment readiness by validating QC, documentation, packaging, and compliance requirements prior to structured handoff to Logistics.
Lead vendor performance management, tracking OTIF, lead time accuracy, quality standards, and responsiveness.
Drive cross-functional alignment and continuous process improvement across planning systems, data integrity, and scalable supply chain workflows.
Who You Are
5–8+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or procurement within DTC, CPG, or e-commerce environments.
Proven track record managing overseas factories, production timelines, and end-to-end PO execution.
Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel/Sheets proficiency and experience with forecasting, scenario planning, and data-driven decision-making.
Hands‑on experience with ERP and e-commerce systems (e.g., NetSuite, Shopify, Oracle, SAP, Odoo).
Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments while building structure where needed.
Strong communication skills with internal teams and external vendors; disciplined in escalation and problem resolution.
Business judgment to balance service levels, cash, and inventory risk, with attention to specifications, packaging, documentation, and timelines.
Preferred: experience with inventory planning tools (e.g., Inventory Planner, Anaplan), international trade knowledge (incoterms, CBM, HS codes, QC), and relevant product category experience.
