Reports To: Operations Manager, Supervisor, Crew Leader, or Coordinator
Job Purpose
The Field Operator undertakes hands-on tasks, utilizing Weatherford's equipment, machinery, and systems. The role applies technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions to complete assignments. Senior roles may involve leadership responsibilities at the rig site, including mentoring and overseeing other operators.
Roles & Responsibilities
Safety, Security & Compliance
* Maintain high standards of corporate governance, ensuring activities comply with security, compliance, and HSE policies, laws, and industry standards.
* Prioritize Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental protection.
* Seek continual improvement in HSE practices, considering stakeholder inputs and best practices.
* Demonstrate effective safety leadership, especially for supervisors and managers.
Quality
* Familiarity with Company’s Quality policies and active participation in system compliance and improvements.
Operations
* Perform duties per Weatherford policies and SOPs.
* Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, and hazard analyses.
* Maintain equipment and work areas safely and presentably.
* Execute work instructions accurately, including inspections, maintenance, and equipment operation.
* Lead or assist in rigging up/down, repairs, and equipment servicing, adhering to training levels.
* Drive company vehicles to well sites.
Communication
* Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
Financial
* Responsible for cost management within budgets and policies.
People & Development
* Engage in personal career development and training.
* Collaborate with managers on performance and talent management.

Experience & Education
* Required: 1–2.5 years in Oil & Gas industry; High School Diploma.
* Preferred: Basic Computer Skills.

* Good reading/writing, judgment, time management.
* Physical capability to meet job demands.
Travel Requirement
