***PLEASE APPLY WITH RESUME/CV WRITTEN IN ENGLISH TO DEMONSTRATE FLUENCY*** Title: Techno-Functional SQL Consultant Location : Brazil (remote) Working Hours : EST or CST Must Haves: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline 4+ years of experience in an application development or support role focusing on ERP or other backoffice applications (for example Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud ERP or equivalent Hands-on experience maintaining and supporting custom applications using Microsoft SQL Server Demonstrated techno-functional expertise—understanding both business processes and technical configurations Experience with author payments, royalties, or vendor payment systems HIGHLY PREFERRED Proficiency in SQL and T -SQL Experience with Data Integration tools (such as Informatica, SSIS or other), APIs, and Oracle Report Strong understanding of business and financial workflows Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Financials or migration from EBS to Cloud Familiarity with publishing, media, or educational content industries Key Responsibilities This position will support the client’s Royalty application (SQL Server–based) and related integrations. Serve as a liaison between Finance, IT, and business teams leveraging various back-office applications supporting the Product Lifecycle Management operations(the role will be primarily focused on Royalty application to start, then could shift to other applications and technologies in the future) Monitor integration runs and proactively identify any delays and ensure accurate processing workflows Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server–based stored procedures, views, and reports supporting author payment and other supplier/vendor maintenance functionality Troubleshoot and resolve both functional and technical issues across vendor/stakeholders, ERP (Oracle), and custom systems Identify and coordinate issues arising between SQL Server-based application and other ERP (Oracle) applications Support testing, upgrades, and system enhancements to ensure reliability and compliance Document technical specifications, data flows, and business processes Ensure data accuracy, internal control compliance, and timely payment execution
