We establish supplier relationships with automotive companies and provide a one-stop shop for candidates interested in working in the industry.We are looking for a Senior Staff BSW Configuration Engineer on behalf of a global automotive OEM, for their team in Betim, Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and integrating Base Software (BSW) components, with a focus on Operating System (OS), Hypervisor (Hv), Board Support Package (BSP), and board bring-up activities. You will ensure seamless software integration across hardware platforms, enabling reliable and scalable embedded systems for next-generation vehicles.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW modules with a focus on OS, hypervisor, and BSP.Lead board bring-up activities for new ECUs and hardware platforms.Work with hardware and system engineering teams to validate and debug low-level software and drivers.Ensure compliance with Stellantis software standards, safety, and performance requirements.Support ECU platform development from prototype to production.Collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers and internal software teams to resolve integration challenges.Document configurations, design decisions, and bring-up procedures in Stellantis’ knowledge base.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in BSW configuration and integration.Qualifications & ExperienceMust-Have:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.8+ years of experience in embedded software engineering, specifically with BSW configuration.Strong hands-on experience with AUTOSAR OS, hypervisors, and BSP development.Proven expertise in board bring-up (initializing new hardware platforms, debugging low-level issues).Proficiency with debugging tools (JTAG, Lauterbach, oscilloscopes, CAN analyzers).Solid understanding of microcontrollers (e.g., Infineon, NXP, Renesas) and automotive SoCs.Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a global, cross-functional team.Nice-to-Have:Experience with functional safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE processes.Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet).Familiarity with model-based development and CI/CD pipelines.Portuguese and English proficiency; Spanish is a plus.What we offer:Opportunity to shape the foundation of Stellantis’ next-generation electronic platforms.A role at the intersection of hardware and software, enabling cutting-edge SDV capabilities.Work in an international environment with global collaboration.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Professional growth within one of the world’s largest automotive groups.Equal Employment Opportunity: Hashlist is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
