In this role, you'll work as part of SAP Empowered Product Teams, designing, developing, and maintaining frontend application features for cross-platform mobile SAP Service and Asset Manager.
You'll follow SAP's development standards, using standard and SAP mobile technologies like SAP BTP Mobile Services, SAP Mobile Development Kit, JavaScript, TypeScript, Visual Studio Code, Xcode, Android Studio, ilodata, SQL, Ultralite DB, Appium, Java, SAP Business Application Studio, GitHub, CI/CD with Hyperspace Fastlane, OData Services, SAP Gateway, S/4HANA system, etc.
Collaborate with product managers to clarify customer problems and feature requirements. Work with UX designers to ensure seamless and visually appealing user experiences following SAP Fiori Design Guidelines for each platform, iOS, Android, and Windows.
Use the S/4HANA system and its relevant business processes, and data objects, set up test data, perform end-to-end tests, and validate developed features against the S/4HANA system.
Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and UI automation test scripts for developed features. Actively collaborate with quality engineers on issues reported, debug, identify, and fix bugs, crashes, and performance issues.
Provide sufficient documentation on features developed. Collaborate with technical writers to provide information on product features developed for use in product documentation.
Follow agile development principles and best practices during development. Participate in daily scrums, participate in backlog grooming, and able to provide good-quality effort estimates.
Quickly investigate and resolve assigned customer incidents from ServiceNow, follow the standard customer incident support process, ensure timely investigation, proper communication with customers, proper documentation in ServiceNow incidents, and resolution of issues within the standard SLA based on criticality of customer incidents.
Create necessary JIRA issues for tracking, and SAP Notes to provide resolution and fixes.
Maintain communication and documentation in English. Maintain proper communication and notification with lead MDK developer and SAP development manager on vacation or absence to ensure minimum impact to development timeline.
