Hatch is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the P&T team in our Belo Horizonte, BR office. In this role, the candidate is expected to provide professional engineering services to effectively manage and lead the preparation of feasibility studies, analysis and designs associated with ports and bulk materials handling projects around the world. The candidate should be experienced with planning, concept design, analysis and detailed design services for the development of dry/liquid bulk materials handling, container, oil and gas, and general cargo terminal developments. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project development is an important attribute.Key aspects of the role are further described below.Responsibilities:Serve as Project Manager for ports and materials handling projectsLead multi-disciplinary teamsCarry out peer reviews of ongoing technical packages as requiredEstimate level of effort for tasks and manage to budgetPromote and support technical excellence and quality of workSupport constructability and safety reviews of projectsDevelop client relationsTrack and follow markets and opportunities in the region & sectorBe aware of industry technical requirements, trends and opportunitiesConnection and visibility with industry business and technical leadersLead and participate in professional excellence groupsQualifications:University degree in structural, marine structures or mechanical engineering20+ years’ experience with similar projects/scopeDemonstrated technical writing and presentation skillsDemonstrated teamwork and leadership skillsCollaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutionsDon\'t meet every single requirement?
