The Sr. Manager, Legal & Compliance (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for ensuring the company meets legal and regulatory obligations while minimizing risk. You will work closely with legal and business teams to address legal issues and oversee multiple projects, ensuring goals are met through self-directed work and effective supervision. Specifics include:
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks related to business operations
• Review and interpret current and pending laws and regulations to determine their potential impact on the business
• Draft, review, and approve contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, and assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing commercial transactions
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, mediation, and arbitration as needed
• Maintain records of compliance inspections, assessments, and risk mitigation activities
