Role Description
In Telepatia, everybody is building (writing code) and/or selling. This role is mainly building, with a lot of client-facing.
The value of a company is the sum of the problems it solves. This role is about solving problems.
What are FDEs? Embed with hospital operations. Sit next to nurses at triage. Shadow doctors in the ER. Understand workflows that no requirements document captures. Discover new use cases. You're in the field. You see what's broken before anyone else does. You turn those observations into product opportunities.
Feed patterns back to product. What works at Client X that could work everywhere? What's a one-off vs. a platform feature? You make that call.
What FDEs are not? Not Consultants that optimize for billable hours. FDEs optimize for customer outcomes that become platform features.
Not technical support: FDEs don't fix bugs or answer tickets.
Who We're Looking For
Engineering background
Experience in Ops or Product
Former technical founders welcome
Comfortable with ambiguity and working directly in hospital environments
