Job Opportunity: Technical Sales Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Manager to provide expert technical service to existing and new customer accounts within the Carbohydrate Processing and Fuel Alcohol markets.
* Collaborate with customers to optimize enzyme/yeast performance through routine plant visits to conduct process audits and lab analysis.
* Analyze process and lab data to offer recommendations for improvement to the process.
* Develop innovative tools or models to enhance data analysis.
* Contribute to developing and executing account plans.
* Evaluate business development opportunities from a commercial and technical perspective.
* Foster strong relationships both externally (with customers) and internally with sales, marketing, R&D teams.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or technical field.
* 3-4 years of relevant experience in an industrial biotechnical environment (Enzymes, food, fuel alcohol, etc.).
* Excellent analytical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Proficiency in JMP or other statistical program preferred.
* Customer-focused approach with ability to develop/maintain relationships.
* Self-motivated and results-driven.
* Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize in dynamic environments.
* Ability to travel 50% or more.
