About the role:
Alcoa is seeking an Industrial Mechanical professional to join the São Luis/MA unit. As a Mechanical Technician A, you will be responsible for maintenance of components, equipment, and industrial machines. You will plan maintenance activities, evaluate the operational condition and performance of machine components, lubricate machines and parts, document technical information, and work according to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Select materials, tools, and measurement instruments needed for tasks;
* Basic knowledge of machine elements, lubricants, lubrication systems, welding, and cutting;
* Follow safety policies, norms, and procedures approved at Alumar, and actively participate in safety plans such as audits, inspections, and meetings;
* Perform mechanical maintenance on machines, equipment, and installations, including hydraulic and pneumatic components, repairing or replacing parts, adjustments, and lubrication;
* Conduct basic inspections of machines and installations;
* Inspect, tighten, adjust, and eliminate abnormalities.
Qualifications you can bring:
* Technical training in Mechanical Engineering – active CFT;
* Knowledge of corrective and preventive maintenance of industrial mechanical equipment;
* Experience in the role;
* Basic Office Package skills;
* Willing to reside in São Luis/MA.
