Project Manager Position Summary
As a seasoned delivery executive, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of complex projects and initiatives in an agile engineering environment.
Job Description
This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of project plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation
* Collaborate closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking (Jira)
* Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear updates and driving alignment across teams
* Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve
* Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed
* Support prioritization decisions by providing delivery insights, trade-offs, and impact analysis
* Continuously improve delivery processes, tools, and ways of working to increase efficiency and predictability
* Track and report on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives
* Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
* Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
* Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing role
* Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity
* Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs
* Basic SQL skills and familiarity with finance or accounting concepts are a plus but not required
