With more than 3,000 employees, we produce a wide range of products, including cheese, fresh dairy, cream, tapas, and milk powder, for the global markets.
We work closely with dairy farmers and strategic partners to create sustainable agri-food chains.
Our global accounting team is mainly based in the Netherlands and collaborates internationally with other teams to ensure financial compliance across all our markets.
Responsibilities
Processing incoming invoices: Manage supplier invoices, ensuring accurate data entry, timely payments, and resolving discrepancies.
Maintain proper documentation for compliance and audits.
Maintaining the balance sheet and P&L: Prepare and reconcile balance sheets monthly, ensure P&L accuracy by reviewing transactions, and support month-end / year-end closing processes.
Financial reporting and compliance: Preparing financial reports, ensure compliance with regulations, and collaborate with auditors during reviews.
Coordination with departments: Work with procurement and finance teams to manage invoice approvals and provide updates on accounts payable and reporting.
Who are you?
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with a background in accounting, financial control, and analysis.
Minimum of 4 years in a financial role.
Experience in auditing firms or administrative finance and accounting roles is highly valued.
Advanced or professional, essential for collaborating with teams in the Netherlands.
Experience with financial systems and ERP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for financial control and reporting.
Effective communication and collaboration across departments and with external partners.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Availability for occasional travel to the Netherlands, especially during the initial training period.
Where will you work?
You will be based at our production facility in Salas, Asturias, working closely with the management team. While the primary location is in Asturias, occasional travel may be required as needed.
