Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Business Analyst to join the Brazil Analytics Center of Excellence within Caterpillar's Global Finance Services Division. In this role, you will deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis and reporting to support critical business processes. Your work will help drive data‑driven decisions and enhance operational efficiency across the organization.
What You Will Do:
These encompass a wide range of accounting activities performed at the Analytics Center of Excellence. Individual job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Prime product and/or component cost monitoring & analysis
* Standard Cost Revision (SCR) and current cost grief resolution
* Capital Management: Capital expenditure forecasting and reporting
* Financial Analysis: Accomplish a high level of compilation with a broad range of accounting analysis, review data input, advise internal customers on accuracy of cost data, generate reports and provide commentary to leadership on cost accuracy, to serve as a cost governance person.
* Supporting strategic decisions of medium to high complexity by conducting financial analyses for various projects and cost‑reduction programs, as well as comparative studies on the competitiveness of machines/components produced in different locations.
* Supporting improvement projects and other initiatives related to Caterpillar's strategic business, while communicating with other Caterpillar factories worldwide.
* Providing financial recommendations to global teams through economic feasibility studies for localizations, resourcing, insourcing, outsourcing, and other studies. Delivering timely financial analysis for investment decision‑making, including discounted cash flow, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), OPACC, and risk and sensitivity analysis.

Knowledge of effective self‑management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
* Problem Solving:
Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree
* Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Pre‑advanced English
Top Candidates will have:
* Previous experience in financial analysis, costs, capital, FP&A activities.
* Proven experience with analytical and automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Python).
* Focus on process improvement, leading initiatives and projects with the team.
* Project leadership / Black Belt.
* MBA, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or similar.
* Advanced / Fluent English
This position requires the candidate to work on‑site five days a week.
