About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Senior Product Designer.
* You will be responsible for defining and leading design experiences across three core products—web and mobile.
* You will take ideas from concept to completion, ensuring seamless user experiences.
* Conduct full research processes from planning to execution and synthesis, gathering valuable insights.
* Lead usability testing sessions, gather feedback, and refine designs accordingly.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong bias for action, scrappy attitude, flexibility, and willingness to pivot in a fast-paced environment.
* You will work closely with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scope appropriately, and account for edge cases and error states.
* Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate is crucial in this role.
* Establish and maintain a consistent design language and component library.
* Contribute to the overall brand experience by creating and maintaining brand and marketing materials.
Key Qualifications
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in Product/UX Design.
* Fluent in English.
* You are a problem solver, learner, and have good taste in visual design.
* Strong portfolio with concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web or mobile interfaces.
* Proficient in Figma with the ability to translate requirements and ideas into simple design solutions.
* Experience designing for similar users (Nurses, Senior Care Professionals) is preferred.
About the Team
The team is distributed, with members located in North and South America. Work hours are flexible, but regular meetings are expected. Collaboration relies heavily on Figma, Slack, Linear, and Notion.
This is a full-time contractor position. The company will work with individuals who already have a company set up or help you set up your own company for compensation purposes.
Interview Process

* Asynchronous portfolio review: Create a 15-minute video walking through a relevant project that demonstrates your skills and experience related to the role.
* Project: Spend 2 hours on a small project. You will be given product context and asked to come up with low-fidelity designs for a user experience that addresses the problem. Present your project during a 1-hour interview with leadership.
* Additional follow-up 1:1s with the founder and/or Head of Engineering may be requested to address unresolved questions.
