We have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Data Engineer with backend expertise to join our high-impact engineering team. The ideal candidate will work on building and enhancing large-scale, distributed systems.
The role involves designing and implementing reliable backend components used by other engineers, collaborating with product, design, and client teams, and working on complex data-intensive systems.
To succeed in this position, you should have:
* At least 3 years of experience in backend engineering.
* Strong Java backend skills, including REST APIs, caching, storage, and data processing.
* Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and MapReduce.
* A proven track record of working in consumer apps, social media, or large-scale platforms.
* Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
