About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Brazilian Portuguese Interpreter & Project Coordinator to join our international team. This role serves as the critical bridge between our Chinese headquarters and our local operations in Brazil. It is a unique opportunity not only to utilize your language skills but also to grow into a project management or regional operations role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mandarin Interpretation & Translation: Provide high-quality consecutive interpretation (Mandarin Brazilian Portuguese) for board meetings, business negotiations, and technical site visits.
* Document Management: Translate project documents, contracts, and technical specifications from Chinese to Portuguese and vice versa .
* On-site Coordination: Act as the primary linguistic link between Chinese expatriates and the local Brazilian workforce to ensure cultural alignment and operational efficiency.
* Operational Support: Assist HR, Finance, and Admin departments in interfacing with local entities using your bilingual skills.
* Project Growth: Take on project management tasks as your understanding of our Chinese-Brazilian operations deepens.
Qualifications (Mandarin is Essential):
* Language Proficiency (Mandatory): Native or professional-level fluency in Mandarin Chinese (HSK 4 or equivalent) and Brazilian Portuguese. (English is a plus)
* Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
* Experience: Proven experience in Chinese-Portuguese interpretation/translation. Candidates who have studied or worked in China are highly preferred.
* Communication: Exceptional cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts between Chinese and Brazilian teams.
* Mindset: Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to work on-site (Expat/Stationed) with the Chinese team.
