Position: Radiologist – Emergency & Trauma Radiologist- Day Shift/Onsite
Practice:Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) is a large interdisciplinary private practice group of over 100 providers that includes Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons and Advanced Practitioners. We are the exclusive service provider for St. Luke’s University Health Network (SLUHN) in Lehigh Valley, PA. We are proud to partner with SLUHN to support their Radiology Residency Program.
Our Network:SLUHN, is a growing regional/tertiary network of 15 hospitals, specialty clinics and imaging centers serving the Lehigh Valley community in Northeastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey. We are an Academic institution with extensive residency and fellowship programs as well as a Medical School. As a GE show site, the network offers state of the art, standardized equipment across network hospitals and imaging sites, as well as a unified PACS system.
Who we are seeking:
PPA is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained radiologist to join our expanding Emergency and Trauma Imaging Division. Our group provides 24/7/365 emergent imaginginterpretationsfor 15 hospital sites in PA and NJ, including two Level 1 Trauma centers. We are a hybrid private/academic practice with a small residency program of about 7 residents per year.
We are looking for a daytime emergency radiologist to work 8-5PM onsite with our residents. There is flexibility for some evening/remote shifts as well to optimize work-life balance. Candidates will be responsible for all imaging modalitiesfrom the emergency department with an emphasis on CT and US.PPA is focused on high quality reports with reasonable volume expectations. We have integrated AI technology into our workflow to optimize efficiencyand reduce diagnostic errors such as fracture and nodule detection and auto impression generators. We also offer 24/7 liaisonsupport to assist with phone calls to reduce interruptions.Candidates should have a demonstrated career interest in Emergency Radiology, possess strong clinical skills and be able to function in a fast-pacedenvironment. Our ideal candidate enjoys teaching residentsand working collaboratively with our ED and trauma counterparts. Ability to read CTA Strokes and MR is a plus but not a requirement.
Qualifications:
* ABR certification, medical licensure/eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
