Role: Backend Developer (Kotlin + Spring Boot)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled API Developer with expertise in Kotlin and Spring Boot to design, build, and maintain scalable APIs powering our solution. You will collaborate closely with the front-end team and other stakeholders to deliver robust and secure back-end services.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop APIs using Kotlin + Spring Boot
* Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of services
* Integrate with databases, third-party services, and cloud infrastructure
* Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize services
* Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver solutions incrementally
Must-Have Skills
* Hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring Boot (4–5 years)
* Strong understanding of REST API design principles
* Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases
* Proficiency with unit testing and API documentation tools (Swagger/OpenAPI)
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience deploying APIs on Azure Web Apps and Kubernetes
* Knowledge of OAuth2 / JWT authentication
* Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines
* Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
