You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:
* 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a focus on Python, React and microservices architecture.
* Expertise in Python development, especially with Django REST Framework or similar frameworks.
* Strong experience in front-end technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
* Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, and others (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
* Knowledge of microservices architecture and designing systems that scale effectively.
* Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and working with API integration.
* Familiarity with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments.
* Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, and fault-tolerant systems.
* Experience with unit/integration testing and writing quality, maintainable code.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in both front-end and back-end systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
* Ability to manage time effectively and deliver high-quality solutions within deadlines.
* Proficiency in English, as the role requires direct communication with US-based clients.
You will be accountable for the following responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain both backend services and frontend applications.
* Build, implement, and scale microservices architectures that support high-performance, high-availability, and highly scalable systems.
* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define the best approaches and deliver quality software.
* Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Python (Django REST Framework) and React.
* Work with front-end technologies such as ReactJS, HTML, and JavaScript to build responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
* Ensure robust database interactions and integration with MySQL, DynamoDB, and other SQL/NoSQL databases.
* Create and manage RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
* Focus on improving application performance, addressing bottlenecks, and ensuring efficient data flow across systems.
* Write unit, integration, and system-level tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
* Participate in code reviews, collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improvement, and provide technical guidance.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development.
