About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled 3D Designer to join our Creative team, specializing in high-fidelity marketing-grade 3D rendering, imagery, and product animation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop high-end, hyper-realistic product and lifestyle scenes, including advanced image compositing from various reference materials.
* Create professional 3D product animations, such as product rotations, camera moves, and simple showcases.
* Help set new standards for product modeling, texturing, lighting with an absolute dedication to visual authenticity.
* Accurately translate design concepts into detailed 3D models.
* Develop high-resolution final images and video assets of rendered content.
* Successfully balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
* Work with varied project briefs, cooperate with Graphic Designers, and support the wider Creative team.
* Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, adapting to distinct visual approaches required for our brands.
* Uphold design standards, including consistent file-naming structures and meticulous folder organisation.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
* Expert proficiency in Cinema 4D, with experience in Octane Render preferred.
* Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in high-definition commercial-style 3D visualizations, image compositing, and 3D animation.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, fluently articulating technical 3D constraints to non-technical team members.
* 4+ years' experience as a 3D designer, preferably in a graphic/animation studio, advertising agency, or in-house creative department.
* Proactive interest in emerging 3D technologies, willing to explore AI-powered tools to optimize workflows and push creative boundaries.
* Capable of assessing a brief and determining effective execution strategy, knowing when to push for technical excellence and when to utilize smart shortcuts.
* Educated to degree level in Design or related subject, proficient in modeling and texturing, with a keen focus on optimal product presentation.
* Exceptional sense of composition, visual veracity, texture, and illumination, with a sophisticated understanding of materials.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and knowledgeable about the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
