Practice: Progressive Physician Associates (PPA) is a large interdisciplinary private practice group of over 100 providers, including Diagnostic Radiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Advanced Practitioners.
We are the exclusive service provider for St. Luke's University Health Network (SLUHN) in Lehigh Valley, PA, supporting their Radiology Residency Program.
Our Network: SLUHN is a growing regional/tertiary network of 13 hospitals, specialty clinics, and imaging centers serving the Lehigh Valley community in Northeastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey.
It is an academic institution with extensive residency and fellowship programs, as well as a Medical School.
The network features state-of-the-art, standardized equipment across hospitals and imaging sites, along with a unified PACS system.
Who we are seeking: PPA is seeking a dedicated Breast Imager to join our dynamic group of physicians.
Part-time and hybrid radiologists reading both general radiology and mammography are also considered.
The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence.
This position offers opportunities to teach residents and participate in scholarly activities.
Our practice emphasizes a collaborative culture with ongoing teaching and mentoring.
The Breast Imaging division includes 7 fellowship-trained breast imagers and 6 multispecialty radiologists.
Imaging exams include screening mammography/tomosynthesis, diagnostic mammography & US, breast MRI, abbreviated breast MRI, contrast-enhanced mammography, and automated breast US screening.
Biopsy procedures include stereotaxy, tomosynthesis, US, CEM, and MRI guidance.
Savi Scout localizations are also performed.
Qualifications:
ABR certification, medical licensure/eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
Fellowship training in breast imaging or Women's imaging, or extensive experience
