This role demands fluency in advanced editing, a sharp editorial eye, and an ability to turn complex discussions into visually compelling, platform-ready content. The editor is responsible for both long-form and short-form execution, balancing speed and quality while collaborating across production, marketing, and content teams. This role requires end-to-end ownership—from narrative shaping and post-production to audience optimization and performance iteration.Key Responsibilities:Edit full-length podcast episodes for visual and audio clarity, pacing, and narrative flowProduce short-form, platform-specific content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and other channelsApply advanced techniques: sound mixing, motion graphics, captioning, transitions, and color correctionWork with producers and hosts to shape editorial direction and identify high-impact segmentsMaintain consistent workflows across Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, or equivalent toolsOptimize assets for SEO, thumbnails, and metadata to boost reach and discoverabilityInterpret platform analytics to adjust content strategy and increase retention and engagementTranslate technical B2B topics into visually accessible content that performs with a professional audienceManage overlapping projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote team settingDeliver feedback-informed revisions and contribute to evolving best practicesQualifications:Strong portfolio of short-form and podcast-to-video content with demonstrable performance metricsMastery of video and audio editing tools: Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Audition, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.Deep understanding of digital storytelling, pacing, and platform-specific content strategiesExperience editing for professional or B2B audiences with a clear sense of tone, clarity, and polishProven ability to work cross-functionally with content teams, SMEs, and marketersHigh attention to detail, with a process-driven approach and strong organizational skillsAbility to adapt quickly to new tools, platforms, and creative challengesAvailability to work during U.S. business hours and meet EST-aligned deadlinesPreferred Attributes:Positive, resourceful attitude with a collaborative mindsetComfortable under feedback cycles, fast turnarounds, and shifting prioritiesBackground in digital media, content marketing, or SaaS/tech editorial preferredStrong creative instincts paired with data awareness and growth mindset#J-18808-Ljbffr
