What you'll do: PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for Manufacturing Process Development, the successful execution of the Change Management Process, NPD Projects and there budget allocation. Lead the Integrated Development Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and life of the program financial performance by coordinating customer programs, and relationships. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Coordinate the Change Management Process and Profit and Loss of the NPD projects. Responsibility, Authority and Accountability (RAA) for every project scope delivery and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments. B. Development and maintenance of manufacturing processes and control plans for products produced in the sector C. Development of studies of new manufacturing technologies and their applicability in the productive environment of the company D. Coordinate effective customer communications. Improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations. E. Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the project teams by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports. F. Maintain metrics for projects for earned value, quality, technical performance and delivery through all of the PROLaunch phases. G. Coordinates all risks and requirements of the program into a complete integrated entity. This is accomplished by planning, controlling, integrating all projects into the programs and measuring all elements to ensure the requirements and goals are successfully achieved. H. Advise on the selection and try-out processes of machining equipment, regard to machines, times, set-up, training and definition of adopted tooling I. Provides periodic program updates (Program Status Report - Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule). Provides updates to the business units as well as divisional, and group levels. J. Plays a key role in developing New business proposals and executing the overall program plan. K. Provides overall Program interface with the customer. Qualifications: Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering is mandatory (Production, Mechanical, Automation, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering). - Relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Process Development Management. - Proven leadership skills, with the capability to lead change in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and global customers. - Fully demonstrating to proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools. - Excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer. - Experience in Risk Management. - Strong analytical skills and business acumen. - Availability to work on site in Caxias do Sul is required.
