Opportunity
The AI Engineering Leader has a pivotal role in our organization, guiding the team that develops enterprise-level solutions to scale and automate value-driven outcomes for the business. The leader will oversee all aspects of AI engineering—from conceptualization to deployment—ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge solutions that meet business and technical requirements. This role blends technical depth with leadership to drive AI projects from concept to implementation.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business and engineering teams to identify, define, and prioritize AI and machine learning projects
Lead rapid and effective development of proofs of concept for AI initiatives
Design, build, and deploy AI solutions using Python, standard ML libraries, AI third-party services, and AWS
Mentor and lead the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Communicate and plan across other teams
Hire for your team
Drive technical direction in projects and ensure scalability and robustness, involving other stakeholders as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with standard ML libraries
Experience in applied machine learning projects
Practical understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS; GCP experience is a plus
Practical knowledge in building and deploying microservices
Ability to integrate third-party APIs and AI services
Experience with monitoring applications in production
Experience with code versioning (GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Enjoy writing documentation and understand why it’s valuable
Advanced/fluent English
