The Information Technology Director for the Americas holds a critical role in ensuring the consistent delivery of robust, high-performing, and secure IT operations across a diverse geographical landscape, encompassing Brazil, Mexico, and the United States. This multifaceted position demands a strategic leader capable of aligning IT strategy with the distinct regional business requirements and demands while remaining synchronized with the broader global organizational goals. Key responsibilities include comprehensive budgetary and resource management, oversight of IT projects from their initial conception through successful deployment of innovative, cost-effective IT solutions designed to proactively support and drive the overall business strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES The IT Director will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, the following: Overseeing all IT operations for the Americas region including Global support for SAP ERP environment. Developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with global IT directives and guidelines and regional business needs. Managing the IT budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness. Leading and developing the IT team within the region. Ensuring compliance with Corporate IT policies and regulations. Managing IT projects and ensuring timely and effective delivery. Providing technical support and guidance to regional teams. Maintaining and improving IT infrastructure and security. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in the Americas region. Experience with IT compliance and regulations. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and information security. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to manage budgets and projects effectively. Travel availability (about 25% time) within the Americas region (Mainly Brazil, Mexico and US).
