**Location**:Piracicaba
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in IT areas)
- 3-5 years QAD technical admin experience or equivalent infrastructure experience
- Broad knowledge with Progress OpenEdge
- Broad knowledge in working with Linux/Unix OS
- Strong expertise in shell script development
- Ability to perform analysis using appropriate elicitation techniques
- Pre-Advanced English
- QAD Certified Professional - Foundation Technology and Implementation - EE
- QAD Certified Professional - Foundation Technology and Customization - EE
- Previous ITIL experience (Incident/problem/change management)
- Source Code Version Control system experience
- Knowledge of network and connectivity protocols
Working with corporate systems, primarily focusing on the QAD ERP Application and associated solutions used by multiple Caterpillar facilities.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:
- Providing analytical services and solutions for various technical issues
- Creating & maintaining system documentation with high attention to detail
- Developing and deploying Backup and Archiving solutions
- Facilitating /Coordinating technical upgrade and patches
- Train and support users in the systems & processes
