About this role
Our team is seeking a skilled Android Engineer to lead the development of innovative mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Jetpack Compose.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining mobile applications leveraging KMP for shared business logic and Compose for modern UI design.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, analyze and optimize high-volume mobile systems for performance and scalability, and refactor codebases as technology evolves.
In addition, you will lead development efforts for new products and enhancements to existing products in response to market changes, troubleshoot and resolve system failures ensuring high-quality user experiences, and work closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative features.
* Architect, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Jetpack Compose.
* Collaborate on cross-platform initiatives contributing to both Android and iOS codebases when necessary.
* Analyze and optimize high-volume mobile systems for performance and scalability.
* Refactor and revitalize codebases as technology evolves.
* Lead development efforts for new products and enhancements to existing products in response to market changes.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system failures ensuring high-quality user experiences.
* Work closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver innovative features.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with:
* 5+ years of experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin.
* Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
* Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or other cross-platform frameworks.
* Exposure to or experience with iOS development (Swift or Objective-C) is a strong plus.
* Strong architecture design skills and ability to build reusable UI components.
* Comfortable working on collaborative, fast-paced engineering teams.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
* Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and passion for innovation.
