**Senior Manager, Recruitment**:
- FIFA27 will be established as the Local FIFA Subsidiary in Brazil, to work together with FIFA HQ in Zurich and globally, to deliver the biggest women's sporting event in the world, the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 ("FWWC2027").
This role will initially be a temporary freelance position supporting the preparation phase for the FWWC2027, transitioning to a fixed-term contract position once the FIFA27 local subsidiary is established in Brazil.
**THE POSITION**:
- Working alongside the FIFA Workforce Management team and reporting to the FIFA27 Head of Workforce, the Senior Manager, Recruitment is responsible for the successful recruitment of a talented and diverse workforce required to plan and deliver the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027.
- This role plays an integral part in ensuring a successful tournament by positioning FIFA27 as an employer of choice, attracting top talent and overseeing the implementation and management of a best-in-class recruitment experience.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process of all individuals hired under FIFA27, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, obtaining reference and background checks, offer/employment contract distribution.
- Setup and implementation of recruitment systems, templates, and workflows ensuring a seamless process ready for FIFA27's recruitment needs and providing training/support to hiring managers where needed.
- Constant alignment with the workforce planning team, cross checking for changes and amendments that affect the recruitment plan and timeline.
- Establish continuous communication across each stage of recruitment, providing status updates, recruitment advice and best-practice guidance.
- Working closely with HR, verify all recruitment processes meet local laws, legislation and KPI targets.
- Establish consolidated reports on all recruitment metrics to allow effective monitoring by Head of Workforce and where applicable FIFA Workforce Management, escalating issues as required.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in a comparable role in an international, fast-paced environment, complex project, preferably in the events and/or sports industry.
- Ability to develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with company goals.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to lead the recruitment team effectively.
- Deep understanding of recruitment best practices and talent market trends, especially within the sports/events industry and within Brazil.
- Ensure all hiring processes comply with employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in recruitment and HR software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- A team player, willing to work to tight timelines.
- Positive attitude, patience, and persistence.
- Experience working within a multicultural and or multinational organisation.
- Right to work in Brazil.
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Fluent in Portuguese (oral and written)
- Ability to re-locate to Rio de Janeiro.
- This role will be a temporary freelance position, before transitioning to a full-time fixed term contract role once a local FIFA subsidiary is established in Rio de Janeiro.
Initially whilst working on a freelance basis, this role will allow full-time remote work but may require you to be based full-time (5 days per week) in the office once the subsidiary is established.
